Benfica Residencial Academy offers Evaluation Camps for coeducational student athletes (grades 9-12) interested in learning more about our technical training and educational experience. Players are provided with proven training methodology and evaluated according to SL Benfica’s standards. A personal evaluation by coaching staff is included at the conclusion of the Camp with a focus on integration into the Academy. All student athletes interested in joining the full-time Academy are encouraged to join one of our Evaluation Camps.
All Evaluation Camps are run by SL Benfica technical coordinators and soccer coaches accredited by the Portuguese Football Federation (FPF) and UEFA. Benfica Residential Academy believes that its coaches are a crucial element in the evaluation and development of young elite athletes.

During school breaks, Benfica Residential Academy offers Summer and Winter Clinics for coeducational athletes (ages 6-18 years) to improve their knowledge and skill of the game. Summer and Winter Clinics utilize the same proven methodology used by SL Benfica to train its elite soccer players in Portugal, which guarantees the quality of technical training and educational enrichment of all athletes.
Through individualized and specific training, the Clinics help participants develop technical, tactical, physical and psychological skills. All aspects of the game, including running technique, relationship with the ball, tactical circulation and attacking and defensive game principles are practiced daily in both individual and team environments.
Following the proven training methodology of SL Benfica, the Clinics are set in an educational and competitive environment that teaches soccer skills and instills the social and human values of Benfica. The Clinics are also a great way for student athletes to be identified and considered for the full-time Benfica Residential Academy (coeducational, grades 9-12).
